Dear Editor,
I urge you to vote yes on the no-tax-increase bond issue for Wentzville Schools on the November 4 ballot.  This bond issue will provide two new elementary schools as well as renovations to the older buildings in the district.

I am the PTO president at Prairie View Elementary and mother of three children.  I have a vested interest in this bond issue because my children will reap the benefits immediately.  The school will have safety issue added and after last week’s manhunt that was close in proximity to Prairie View, I know that I will feel better with the added protection.

We need to focus on the future of the district and the growing district.  I believe that Proposition A will help us take the steps necessary to keep kids safe and well-educated.  The Wentzville School District’s no-tax-increase bond issue is a step in the right direction and I urge you to vote yes on Nov. 4.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Deterding
